Dear Robert Jack Eardley
We live on the site of the Battle of Blore Heath 1459, at which the 5th Lord
Audley was killed (see website). One of the Eardley clan from Congleton
visited us the other day (Ron and Ann Eardley, 40 Chestnut Drive,
Congleton) and told us of your reunion. They thought we might be interested
to make contact. It is possible that a visit to our farm (we could arrange a
walk around the battle field site and give a brief talk on the history - and
perhaps lay on a barbeque or something) might be of interest to people
coming to your re-union. We have a neighbour who is an Eardley too!
Let us know if this might be of interest and we could discuss it further.
