Dear Eardley Family Group Members,
We'd like to invite you to participate in our third annual Flowerdew Hundred
Descendants' Gathering, scheduled for August 20th of 2005. The Flowerdew Hundred
Descendant's Gathering is an event designed to reunite the relatives of Flowerdew's
numerous and diverse families. Flowerdew will have genealogical information
available for many of these families; including Barkers, Browns, Dunns, Flowerdews,
Kents (Epes), Pierseys, Poythresses, Seldens, Wilkins, Willcoxes, Woodsons,
(Y)Eardleys, and others. Speakers and other activities are planned, and tours
of the property will be given on the hour for descendants.
We are also encouraging descendants to bring research and family histories
they've gathered, to share and exchange with other descendants and those interested
in their ancestry. We hope this program will facilitate closer contact between
descendants and emphasize the importance of their ancestors' roles in the history
of Flowerdew Hundred.
To ensure the success of this event, we need to hear from as many descendants
as possible! If you're interested in participating in or attending our Descendants'
