Dear Eardley Family Member,

My grandparents were born in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Their names were Elijah Eardley and Annie Hilditch Eardley. My grandfather Elijah was born on May 19, 1853. Elijah's father's name was Henry Eardley and he was married to Bessie Rickham. My grandparents emigrated to America in the 1880's and settled in Ohio. Elijah worked for the Ohio Penn Coal Company, and Annie worked for the Homer Laughlin China Co.

I am now in the process of researching a family tree for the benefit of my children and grandchildren. I am writing to every Eardley family known, approximately fourteen hundred, with the hope that someone can provide helpful information about the Eardley family history.

If you have any Eardley family tree, or any other relevant information, please contact me. I would greatly appreciate any helpful information. After completing my research, I would be happy to share the results with you. If you have any advice or suggestions, please call or write.
